The Future of Tax Planning and Wealth Management: Transparency and Substance For All? (Kuala Lumpur)
As the world becomes increasingly globalised and cross-border activities become the norm, tax administrators around the world are keenly focused on ensuring tax payers pay the right amount of tax to the right jurisdiction.

Enter the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Automatic Exchange of Information protocol introduced with the aim of enhancing global tax transparency by providing countries a platform that will allow the exchange of information between countries. In addition, the Base Erosion Profit Shifting Initiatives will also ensure large companies pay their tax dues appropriately.

So what is the future of tax planning in this ‘new normal’? How will international tax planning for high net worth individuals and large international corporations change in the face of these initiatives? This event aims to discuss these developments and examines wealth management and succession planning solutions available to high net worth families, as well as how these structures stand up against the increasing pressure for transparency?

Come and join us to discuss the future of tax planning and wealth management.
