    Pei Pei has more than 20 years of tax experience in the public accounting practice with Deloitte in both corporate and individual taxation. She has considerable experience in managing corporate tax engagements and her clients include multinational group as well as companies listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

    Her main practice areas include all aspects of direct taxes, such as income tax, corporate tax, real property gains tax, tax incentives for investments, expatriate taxes, Labuan business activity tax and Labuan entities. She is currently the FSI tax leader and has experience in advising on financial investment products which amongst others include private equity funds via limited partnership, structured warrants, subordinated loan arrangements, asset back securitization and insurance related products.  

    Pei Pei also has extensive experience in advising on withholding taxes and permanent establishment and regularly involved in tax audit matters with the Authorities. She has also advised on group restructuring exercise and has experience in advising MNCs on the appropriate tax incentives available. Her experience includes providing advice specially on EPCC projects and managing of their expatriate employees’ tax affairs.

    Pei Pei graduated with a Bachelor of Management (majoring in Finance and Accounting) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and is a member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM).
    Colin Paul Seah, born in 1960 in Kuching, Sarawak, went to the United Kingdom for his secondary education in 1977. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and completed his Masters Degree in Computer Science in 1985 and there after obtained his Chartered Institute of Bankers Diploma.

    He started his career in corporate banking in 1991 and in 1994, he came to Labuan to join a trust company.

    He left in 1996 to form his own trust company, Island Trust and Management Company Sdn Bhd, a joint venture with one of the oldest accounting firm in Australia. As the managing director of 16th trust company in Labuan in 1996; it has grown to be one of the largest trust company in Labuan. In 2004 changes in the Labuan trust laws resulted in Island Trust being taken over by ITMC Fiduciary Limited.

    Colin Paul Seah was the Chairman of the Association of Labuan Trust Companies from 2010 to 2012.
    Goh Ka Im is a Partner and Head of Tax and Revenue Practice Group at Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co. She joined the firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1997. She is currently a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, where she was previously the Chairperson of the Tax Committee; the International Bar Association; the International Fiscal Association; and the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), where she is also its Malaysian Jurisdiction Editor (Labuan).

    Ms Goh’s main practice areas include all aspects of tax and revenue law, such as income tax, corporate tax, real property gains tax, customs duties, sales tax, service tax, double taxation treaties, Labuan business activity tax, Labuan entities, Labuan trusts and foundations, stamp duty, tax incentives for investments, personal trusts, charitable trusts and tax litigation.

    She also has extensive experience in advising on tax and revenue matters and appears regularly in court on such matters. Due to her vast experience in tax and revenue law, she has been invited to speak at numerous local and international revenue law conferences and seminars, and has actively written and contributed a number of articles to the ITPA and other publications.

    Ms Goh graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Bristol, UK in 1986. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1987 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1988.
