Dato’ Mohammed Azlan Hashim is Chairman of IHH Healthcare Berhad, D&O Green Technologies Berhad, Marine & General Berhad, Labuan IBFC Inc. Sdn. Bhd. and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He also serves as Chairman of the Government Retirement Fund Inc. Investment Panel.
He has extensive experience in the corporate sector, including financial services and investment. Positions he has held include Chief Executive of Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad, Group Managing Director of Amanah Capital Malaysia Berhad and Executive Chairman of Bursa Malaysia Berhad Group.
Dato’ Azlan holds a Bachelor of Economics (Monash) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Australia). He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia, Member of The Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Fellow Member of Malaysian Institute of Directors, Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and Hon. Member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, Malaysia.
Mr. Chew Seng Kok, the Managing Director, is primarily responsible for the business development, overall strategy and management of ZICO Holdings Inc.
ZICO is a listed company on the Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The Group is an integrated provider of multidisciplinary professional services focused on ASEAN, provides advisory and transactional services, management and support services and licensing services.
Mr. Chew is also the Chairman of ZICO Law, a network of independent law firms in the ASEAN member countries. ZICO Law is a part of ZICO and the network has offices in 17 cities in all 10 countries throughout Southeast Asia. ZICO Law won the “Innovation in Corporate Strategy Award” in 2014 and in 2015 ZICO Law was recognized for its Innovative Transformation of Legal Services under the “Innovation in the Business Law” (Asia-Pacific headquartered law firms).
Mr. Chew has been recognised and acknowledged as one of Asia’s leading business lawyers in legal industries publications. He was shortlisted for the Most Innovative Lawyer award at the FT Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyer Awards 2014. In recognition of his significant contribution in building strong ties between New Zealand and Malaysia, and the ASEAN region, in August 2015, Mr. Chew was given an award by the New Zealand government during the 40th anniversary of New Zealand’s dialogue partnership with ASEAN.
Seng Kok is very active in supporting the public and private sectors on promoting trade and investments in the ASEAN region. He is also an active member of the ASEAN Business Club, an association of the chief executives of the region’s leading business enterprises. The ABC provides a forum for its members to network, collaborate and play an active role in the process of ASEAN economic integration.
In November 2014, Seng Kok left his managing role in Zaid Ibrahim & Co. and ZICOlaw to take up a full time role as the Managing Director of ZICO and as the Chairman of the ZICO Law Network.
